Can You Guess…?

I was wondering if you could guess from the picture below where I start volunteering today, I haven’t made it too easy have I?

Have a guess!

There isn’t a prize, its just for fun. No cheating! Any idea’s?

P.S Sorry there will be two posts today as I have scheduled one later which is of what may very well be my favourite book of the year, you could try and guess that too!

  1. You have made it easy Simon as you have mentioned where you are volunteering several times on your blog!!! I won’t spoil the fun though.

  2. I suppose that should teach me a lesson because I don’t know that I’ve caught all of your posts lately. But it looks like a certain London cemetary to me!

  3. Great photo! My first thought was that it’s somewhere in Ankor Wat, Camobdia…one of the temples there. But that was before I read your post so that can’t be right, can it?

    • Oh if only it was in Cambodia that would amazing, mind you where would you get books there? I dont think I could cope.

It’s in the UK and commutable so in London. Saying no more lol.

  4. I recognised it… but only from pictures on Paperback Reader’s blog 🙂

  5. Oh my goodness are you going to be a guide at Highgate?! I am so jealous! I wish I had time to do that…and didn’t live so far away. Maybe when I am retired in ooh…forty years time (how depressing is that?!) I might be able to sign up!

  6. Simon, you’ve already told us on Twitter! Hope you enjoy it.

Hahaha I’m loving all the comments about ‘you’ve already told us’. Have fun today!!!

  8. Harriet

looks like Highgate Cemetery to me. Is it?

  9. I avoided commenting on this post as I already knew, but I couldn’t remember where I heard it. I love the fact that everyone else knew too!

    Overshare LOL!!

  10. Yikes, is being in the cemetery while still ALIVE a new rite of passage?

I have been asked to be on the board of directors for SOC (Save our Cemeteries) in New Orleans.

I’ll know in January whether I will be accepted.
