World Book Night Begins…

…Well mine was actually more of a World Book Afternoon as I gave away 46 of 48 copies of my chosen title, which also happens to be one of my favourites! I can reveal it was…

‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. How did I do it and why did I save two… You’ll have to wait till tomorrow to find out!

In the meantime I wondered what you are doing tonight?

So, what was the criteria used to give the books away?

  2. Reading! Beginning my step into the work of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, a surprising move away from my usual genre.

I want to know why you saved two, bring on tomorrow 🙂

    • I hope you caught up on the wheres and the whys of my giveaways?

I have never really fancied The Hitchhikers Guide and I am not sure why. How did it go? Would you recommend it?

  3. This author was here during the recent Galle Literary Festival. I have still not got to this book but she was a huge hit here.

    • I would absolutely love, love, love to meet the author. I must pick up one of her other books sometime soon, I cannot believe I still havent after how much I loved this one.
